05:37 am - [Let's Talk About Books.] I have, maybe, 5 or 6 hundred books that I really don't have enough room to keep them. I got them yesterday and they are out on the back patio where I'm trying to sort them some.
You want any of them?

Comments:
Bookmans was giving away free books? I suppose my husband is very glad we weren't there! Though I am of course supremely jealous!
Yeah, it's not as great as you'd think really. I have maybe 15-20 boxes of books and only a small stack that I want to keep. I've got to find homes for these things.
Really, anytime you wanna get in on some/all say the word. Or if you know anyone that wants to start a mini Bookman's let me know too.
Weren't you going to send me a care package some 2 or 3 odd years ago? I always assumed it was going to be books that you no longer needed or felt that I would.
Yes. For sure. I still have those things waiting for you and I suppose I was wondering where you'd settle in, you know? Seattle, et cetera. Why? Do you want that stuff now? [Okay.] But, yeah, I was also trying to decide on whether or not the one I have for you has the buff color cover or the yellow one. It's been read enough that it's honestly hard to tell. Maybe you can decide? Either way, a Cannery Row from 1945 that feels and smells the way this one does is unbeatable for sure. [I MISS YOU!] And tell me where to ship it to now, huh?
Which e-mail shall I attack? This response really helped make my day and had me crack open the Letters again. What did you think, by the way? The purchase of two copies tells me very-well-thank-you but I like to not just assume but hear. The yellow on the left, which I think is closest in relation to the first image is very Raise-High-Yellow, so the choice is obvious, I think.
And of course, Happy Birthday, old friend.
I may write you in bulk, I just got home. It's humid and I spent a day at a children's bookstore and purchased a classic of two, one of which I never gave enough of a chance.
The Gmail is fine and call too if you want. I'm out in the back making more art. Did you see that whole Etsy deal I'm roped into doing? It's actually turning out okay.
Alright. I'm ready for whatever bulk you've got. [Cheers.]
So here's response two...
I will write you my address (have I already? It's been so long) to your gmail... I hope I still have it. I am assuming it is like your lj name before the @?
And I saw one of your etsy deals from your Facebook. I am glad it's going well. I should be in the market for a few of your pieces soon. My room is basically four white walls and books books books and no-space-at-all. It'd be a nice change.
As for bulk, maybe soon. I don't want to put specifics down or else I may just break it again. But I am feeling more write-y again.
So, how did you feel about the book? You may be too humble or modest to say so, but do you see why I read Doc and I see Jason?
I hope you're well. Tell me all about it.

Yikes! Sorry to only just now reply to this! - But, yeah. They went to a book sale charity fundraiser for the University.
Watch Craigslist though. That's how I found them in the first place.

Im not one to peruse CsL, though Im not against it. (or any internet shopping for that matter) The thrift stores where books are sold are always fun for me. Something about physically handling it before purchasing is the way for me.
Happy Holidays!
